About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am interested in social and economic justice issues both nationally and internationally. I would like to help REFORM the United Nations, so that it could actually function as a legitimate organization that fights for WORLD PEACE

ABOUT ME

My friends and family tell me that I talk too much (not sure if this is a good or bad thing). But I admit, I am a talker. I've found that talking to people (in conjunction with listening of course...) is the best form of self-education. Hmmm, what else...I am very spontaneous (also not sure if this is a good or bad thing...); i am definitely not a huge planner. sometimes I like to just pick up and go without any explanation...uninhibited...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I didn't know what "couchsurfing" meant until I came across this site. However, I have had a recent experience that I think would qualify as "couchsurfing." Me and two good friends of mine visited my friend in Mexico City a few months ago for Spring Break. This was probably the best trip I've ever took because nothing was planned; everything occurred on a day-to-day basis. So, for the first 3 days of our trip, we took a a bus to Chacahua in Oaxaca State and slept on the beach; after that, we slept at random houses of "friends of friends of friends" of my friend (did you get that?) for the rest of our trip. We actually only stayed at my friend's house for one night, and the other nights we literally "couchsurfed" from place to place...this definitely made the trip more interesting!
