Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's been ages since I knew about CS but I waited till I moved to a new house where there is some space available!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first was just AMAZING! I stayed with Amal from Morocco in Paris and we had the best time ever during my weirdest trip so far! (plane delayed then cancelled then was lost with luggage DUH too much to explain) but Amal just offered me her place, her bed and her excellent company :) years later, she visited Cairo and stayed at my place.
The second was in Granada with a lovely student from the Sahara :)
The third in Rabat where I stayed at Aicha’s for one lovely night. We met twice later in Cairo.

Interests

Movies Movies Movies!!! listening to music, biking, reading, fitness and enjoying nature's beauty. Simple things like sitting on a waterfront having some nice dessert do amuse me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hopped in a complete stranger's car in Portland, Oregon who offered to drive me to a garden I was trying to find my way to. He stopped me on the street and was curious about the way I dress (My Hijab apparently) thinking I was from Iran.. he was so culture sensitive and I sensed that he wanted to learn more about my part of the world. I did go with him and we had the greatest time ever before he drove me back to the hotel.

Well, my background is: Muslim Elle from Egypt who loves writing and travel! I'm happy to share and open up so if you're interested, just let me know and we'll get the balls rolling! :)

I host ladies only but I'm happy to meet visiting guys and show them around the city. Just no sleepovers. My old parents are in the house, friendly and warm :)

If you’re a guy and you asked me to host you, it means you haven’t read what I wanted to say about myself in the first place. It means you’re wasting time and you don’t really care to know who you’re writing to. You’re unwelcome then :)
