ABOUT ME

I am a student from Turku, Finland, willing to discover new countries, places and to meet different kinds of people. That's why I am here in Cs. I feel at home in Finland, but it's good to experience more.

Well, I think I am nice and tolerant most of the time. Although sometimes feeling there is all wrong in the world, eventually I won't stop believing to the good things out there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do surf when I go abroad and I also possibly have a couch availabe in Turku.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have attended to some CS-happenings and surfed in Spain, Slovenia and France for instance - these have been great experiences and I will definitely continue this.

Interests

My passion is music - listening to it from the records or especially live, and also playing music. I get my energy also from the nature; I love spending time plainly out of town every now and then. Best time is spent with friends and great people, going out or just chilling out. In my free time I also love to read or do random things.

Music, Movies, and Books

The ones that first came to my mind, so to name a few.. Music: Bob Dylan, The Beatles, David Bowie, The Doors, Interpol, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Bloc Party, Supergrass, The Hellacopters, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Joy Division, Led Zeppelin, The Smiths, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Skunk Anansie, The Strokes, Tehosekoitin, Damn Seagulls, Kuolleet Intiaanit.. Rock/blues/jazz/weird/melancholic/happy music.

Books: I love Russian writers and for instance Crime and Punishment and The Master and Margarita are one of my favourite books. Also really impressive books that I have read have been Zorba the Greek and some books by Herman Hesse and Tove Jansson. Movies: The Shinig, Bohemian Life (also other films by Stanley Kubric and Aki Kaurismäki), No Country for Old Men, Forrest Gump, Memento, Wild at Heart..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've walked in bare feet on the seabed at low tide in southern hemisphere at night and watched the stars. The view was great and new to me because of the difference to the Northern sky, and I couldn't take my eyes off it. It feels stupid to explain here how it felt, I just needed to experience it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach for instance to get to know some places I love or some hobbies I have, share some songs I love. In turn, I would like to learn to know new great places, secret and hidden places are the best. And of course I'd like to know how to play guitar better! I would like to share ideas.
