ABOUT ME

I am a 65 yr old grandmother who has recently retired from 30yrs of community work.I have travelled quite a bit during this time and been involved in youth exchanges and have hosted students learning English in my home,I have many friends from all over the world,many of them now living in Wales.I am active and young at heart.I am a good communicator and have many practical skills.I have a son and daughter and a 8 yr old grandaughter who lives in Central Portugal in a village above the clouds Trinhāo. I have two brothers and two sisters and a large extended family of relatives and friends.I am good at networking and organising events.I now live in Haverfordwest Pembrokeshire(not Cardiff) to be nearer my Dad.So if you fancy travelling to Ireland there are two ferry ports in Pembrokeshire with easy access from my home.

PHILOSOPHY

I try always to be kind,considerate and respectful of others and their culture or religious faith.Life is magical and mysterious and should be enjoyed to the full.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted many travellers since joining,but never surfed too busy looking after my Dad and playing with my granddaughter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none really only with friends and family,I have stayed in peoples homes in Cuba.

Cooking,sewing,knitting,basic literacy and numeracy,aromatherapy,indian head massage,I have basic Spanish and at present I am attending a class to improve this.I have 20 years of experience supporting the mentally and physically disabled and much more that I can't think of at the moment,I'm not quite awake
