ABOUT ME

I love learning all types of things.

To me, life is the only true school there is. Knowledge is everywhere for everyone, just need to keep your eyes open and your mind in a receptive state.

Although I've slipped into a more settled down lifestyle, I absolutely love travelling. Meeting different cultures and exchanging with the people from all over the place is just amazing. There is just so much to be learnt and exchanged. Mind blowing!

PHILOSOPHY

I see myself as a spiritual believer but not religious. I'm fascinated by Buddhism, Chinese astrology and am continuously enhancing my knowledge on spiritualism (whatever that means).
In general, I do unto others as I would like them do unto me. So only good things! Live and let live.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm participating by sharing my experiences and wisdom with the people I meet along the way. My openness and gift to hear (not just listen) what people are saying may surprise some people and bring to light new perspectives.
I would love to host people, but that will have to wait for now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To date I have hosted exactly 1 person so far, a true and lasting experience.
I have surfed quite a few couches on the other hand. Till now, only positive experiences, can't complain at all!
Very much looking forward to all the couchsurfing experiences that may come along in the future.

Books: Dan Brown, Mary Higgins Clark, Lee Child, looots of others, love books that directly feed the brain
Movies: Lots... love action, comedy and sci-fi, not so much horror and psycho stuff
Music: Mainly vocal chillout, trance and house, but I listen to everything except heavy metal type music. I enjoy listening to something classical (mostly asian) from time to time to clear my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 week martial arts camp in the Philippines... Pretty much changed the way I look at life, totally! I met people there who are happy with almost nothing, and still willing to share it with you. This place started my mission of finding more people like them around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a computer freak! I enjoy sharing everything I know regarding IT and everything around it. I've learnt the fascination of learning languages and enjoy talking about anything. I love learning, no matter what topic. Knowledge is power, and I want to rule my world some day, hehe ;-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my relaxed way of being and an open ear.
In a time where life has become quite a run, I tend to be the calm point where people can feel at ease and have a space where they can let their heart pour out.
