About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am currently biking from san francisco to San diego
ABOUT ME
When I visit a new city, I love to walk around and try to imagine what my life would be like if I were to live there. I wonder if I would be a different person had I grown up in these different streets, played in these neighborhoods as a kid and walked down these boulevards on my way to work. I feel incredibly lucky for the life I have right now. And I know that I am incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to have a glimpse of all the other lives I could be experiencing.
I currently live in Houston, TX. I recently graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth. I work to save money because I have a dream of one day building an awesome school that lets kids have the opportunities to travel like I have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started a couchsurfing account a while ago, but I am using this for the first time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never couchsurfed before.
Interests
I cook for myself and sometimes for my roommates. I love learning new dishes and cuisines from other cultures.
On the weekends, I go out with friends to latin clubs. I love dancing. Over the years, I've learned salsa (LA style and New York on-2), rueda, bachata, merengue, argentine tango, cha-cha, rumba, and a little bit of waltz. I also used to compete in west coast swing in college.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am currently reading "No Country for Old Men" by Cormac McCarthy. I regret watching the movie before reading the book.
I listen to the Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, and Muse when I need to study or get work done.
I watched "Sky Fall" recently. This was the first movie I've seen in a theatre since the "Italian Job". I prefer watching tragic movies because afterward, I realize how much better my life is compared to those of the characters.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spontaneously solo biked from booton NJ to Boston MA. I woke up in my bed one morning at school, took a friend's mountain bike, caught the bus to NYC, took a train to the middle of jersey and started biking back to campus.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share or exchange my knowledge of asian cooking or dance.
I would love to practice spanish with anyone. I have a hard time picking up conjugations.
