Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great alternative to staying in a hotel--I can meet new people, learn about their perspectives in their home and have a more culturally informed experience over all! Basically it combines my favorite activity (traveling) with my favorite thing to do while traveling (making friends)!!

Favorite Bands: was raised on American folk music and Egyptian classics...always ready to give recommendations

Movies: I have entirely memorized the My Big Fat Greek Wedding script, currently on a journey with Abba Kiarostamis movies

Books: pretty much anything by James Baldwin or Mahmoud Darwish
