I will spend the next year realizing my biggest dream and traveling around the world with my husband Juha Heikkinen (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/juha-heikkinen). We hope to meet a lot of new interesting people along the way and make new friends.

My friends and family call me a weird Finn as I am very talkative and outgoing. I really like meeting new people and getting to learn more about other cultures. I like challenging what we consider “normal” by seeing other ways of doing things and meeting people with a different point of view. I have lived in many different countries and in many different living arrangements in the past.
I am very positive about life and a few people have even gone as far as calling me fun but I think they were just drunk 😄

I have travelled, lived abroad and had legendary nights with friends all of which I would consider amazing 😊

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Finnish and a bit of Danish if you like. I’ve also done quite a bit of cooking in my day so can definitely teach you how to make some traditional Finnish foods if you have the time (traditional foods are rarely the fast type).
I’m always interested in learning other languages and cultural habits.

What I Can Share with Hosts
