ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old grad student, born in Finland, grew up in the United States. I study history and art - I like to study the way that people interact with the little objects in their lives - their clothes, their lucky charms, the bits and bobs of lives that remain after people are long gone. I try to understand who people were based on the things they left behind. It's like playing detective.

I love pets, I don't smoke, and I don't often drink. I'll try almost anything once though - I've eaten termites, snail soup, and fried snake.

I don't have any, but I'm traveling with a friend who has! I'm excited about it.

Languages, dogs, knitting, and how many sides a 4th dimensional cube has. I have a lot of varied interests and I'm always interested in learning more. I have a special fondness for stories and old things.

I'm a fan of classical music, like Stravinsky and Dvorak, but I like rock music just as much.

Ate bacon-wrapped stuffed dates on the beach in Brighton, England.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can knit, sing in a couple different languages, I know why Chinese silk is the best, and I can name most dog breeds. I love to cook for people who love food.
