About Me
It's been a while! I made this account years ago when I was traveling a lot, and now i'm traveling a lot again.
CURRENT MISSION
Deuschlandticket Adventure after opening an exhibition in Munich (slow trains to Berlin and back).
Hoping to dingus around Berlin a bit and I have a not-entirely-disconnected-from-a-deep-love-of-Vonnnegut desire to see Dresden it feels like it is time to fulfill.
PHILOSOPHY
I'll mostly try anything once, though this primarily applies to food or climbing on things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love solo travel, but sometimes you want to have a conversation that goes past casual. I also think chatting with people that actually live places is the best way to get to know them. Also, I like to get my favorite cafés and bars via reference, not google. :P
My work is all about place, so I'd be lying if i said i wasn't also looking for a bit of inspiration. Don't worry, any references are unrecognizable once they've been filtered through the oddity that is my brain.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Limited, surprisingly! I usually end up with a friend of a friend and have never stayed or hosted through the site officially. The concept, however, I am plenty familiar with and I am a Craigslist rideshare veteran.
Interests
Art, Music, Food. The list is long.
Recently started climbing, which I like for meeting interesting people and pushing my limits.

Music, Movies, and Books
Much more of a music and books person, though I love a good movie once in a while.
Current musical kick:
Abattoir Blues - Nick Cave & co
The Asylum Albums - Joni Mitchell
Books I've got with me:
Amazing Adventures of Cavalier & Clay
A yoga philosophy book with a forgettable name.
I've been really enjoying the Odyssey in the studio
Comfort films:
Austen adaptations
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lost in the canyons of Griffith Park under the light of a supermoon. It's hard to find places in Los Angeles when you feel like no one else exists.
--- this still checks, 5+ years later.
Teach, Learn, Share
Stories, conversation. I used to love to cook, but I'm now the queen of putting tahini on pasta and calling it a day (delicious, btw). I'm a calm and respectful guest, I genuinely appreciate people being open and welcoming enough to invite people into their space.
I hope one day to have a place available for people to stay. So far it's eluded me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook, I clean, I sketch. I have some stories, I love to hear others', and I love adventures, especially outdoors.
Yoga teacher, happy to trade a class for a stay.
