I am a young performer / performance artist, currently working and residing in Amsterdam. At the moment I am on tour with a Belgian theatre company, called 'Ontroerend Goed'. My own performances are quite melancholic and grotesque, but the situations and figures that I create always tend to crumble until there is nothing left but an open and honest space in which we hopefully encounter their (and our) inner movements.

Although I love my hometown, I am looking for residencies and masters abroad, because I've always had the longing to not settle immediately after graduating, especially not in the Netherlands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was eighteen, I travelled through the USA with one of my friends and we did a lot of couchsurfing. It's amazing when people open up their place to host you and it's such a different experience to stay at someone's home, where you can feel their personality and history, then to stay at a random hotel.
