I like life.... I like it with all it's ups and downs and most of all, I still like humans...

I am studying to be a midwife, a profession and a part of life, I simply can't get enough of. Meeting families (soon-to-be-parents) in this life-changing, often challenging moment, never stops amazing me. It is the best profession I could ever dream of.
I can talk about this field for hours, so don't hesitate to stop me, if contractions and oxytocin isn't quite down your road. ;)

And then I am married to the most wonderful man on Earth. And so lucky to now, after a few years of long-distance, be living together with him i Copenhagen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy traveling and always find it SO much more fun when we get to meet and hang out locals.

I joined couch surfing in 2008, when I was living in a commune on the countryside. While still living there I hosted around 50-70 people and really enjoyed it.
When I moved to Copenhagen I left the couch surfing-profile with the people still in the commune, since the description was fitted the commune.
I've met A LOT of funny, crazy, fascinating people through hosting =)

Today my husband and I live in a tiny tiny flat. So though we still love to host, it really has to fit our schedules (since guests would be sleeping in our kitchen/living-room/office/wardrobe -all the same room).

Interests

I am not good at sitting still...
I love to paint, draw, knit, sew and everything else where you create something.

My husband and I just started dancing Swing-dance (lindyhop), so hopefully that will result in a lot of fun dancing nights out (or in our livingroom).

I like to meet people and enjoy conversations. Sometimes though I get tired of "talking" being the only thing grown-ups seem to be able to do, so boardgames, dancing or going for a walk might get thrown at you if you stay here ;)

I've always loved to read books... at the moment though all my books are schoolbooks :'(

I also like to cook =) Especially my moms pancakes, which are fitting at any time of day =D
