About Me
Hola! I am 23 years young currently living in San Marcos, Texas. I went to Texas A&M University and graduated in May 2014 with a degree in Psychology, and a minor in Spanish. I am currently working on a masters degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Texas State. While in college, I had the opportunity to study abroad and learn Spanish in Argentina and Spain. The months I spent abroad sparked my passion for travel and I have been infatuated with culture, places, and people ever since! Because studying abroad changed my world so drastically, I wanted the opportunity to help other students find the same experience so I interned at a study abroad program as well as at a study abroad office at a university. This was the perfect way for me to mix my love of helping students and travel. As I am nearing graduation, I am planning on moving and working abroad when I am done with my degree. I think now is the time to chase after my dreams! If not now, then when right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am Couchsurfing for the first time! Staying with host families in Argentina and Spain while I studied abroad showed me the importance of living with local people and experiencing real life as much as possible. I want to get as much of an authentic experience as possible.
Interests
I am a lover of coffee, especially shared with good conversation and people. My adorable Dachshund is the love of my life and he cracks me up every single day. I love having adventures outdoors and am always up for exploring a new place. Family takes top priority in my life. I love cold weather, because it means I get to cozy up with sweaters, scarfs, blankets and warm drinks. I love having deep, stimulating conversations, getting to really know someone. I love being inspired by silly quotes, people, and beautiful places.
