Hey!
I'm an au pair (live-in babysitter) from Hungary; I currently live with my host family near Boulder, CO and I take care of 3 kids. I love exploring new cultures, and I believe that the US is the best place to do so.
I've always loved traveling, sharing my own culture and learning of other ones! As a future English teacher, I find it important to live in a native country and gain as much experience as possible.
In my free time I like doing any kids of sports, soccer with my host kids, coaching tennis etc.
I also love trying different types of food in local (!) restaurants... I can't have real steak or tacos in Hungary!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Once I was proofreading my friend's Master's thesis which was partly about the sustainability of Couchsurfing. I already liked the idea to share cultures in a unique way, and now I finally feel that I'm ready to start exploring the States with the help of YOU.
I hope to be able to host as well when I return to Hungary, but right now I live in my host family's house.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste of music depends on my mood so I mostly listen to happy songs. I like the 70's 80's the most.
I loooove comedy, not horror or action. The Intouchables is a favorite!
I don't have to much time to read, but if I do, I prefer crime from Agatha Christie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to the USA for 1 year (but love it too much so it’s been almost 2 now) to gain experience living abroad, mastering my English, gain work experience with kids, so I think my whole au pair adventure is an amazing journey. Hope to share it with you!

Teach, Learn, Share

I study to be a teacher, so I love sharing knowledge with others. I'm opened to any kinds of conversations, adventures. If I finally find Hungarian palinka, I'll totally share it with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hungarian culture, food, personal stories, fun adventures! People say I'm a good listener but I love talking too! My accent is usually compared to German or Russian, but it's sooo not close:)
