Hi travellers,

My name is Norma, a 23 years old french student with some italian origins, passionated about environmental issues and music (Thom Yorke lovers, I understand you ;).

Starting December 2015, I will take a gap year and will take the time to travel, to experience new landscapes and new ways of living. Especially, I have the mad desire to reach by boat the Icelandic wilderness and hope to meet wonderful couchsurfers during this trip. If some of you have already had the opportunity to travel there, or intend to get there, feel free to send me a message so that we could discuss, and why not organize a part of the journey together!

I was born and raised in Paris, but some of my family also live in Sicily (Italy), as a result of this my heart has always been shared among these two beautiful countries. I also studied a year in Montréal (Canada), and have always been attracted to Nordic countries since them.

Among my several trips, my most striking memory would be the Lofoten Islands (Norway) above the Artic Circle, where I had the chance to watch the midnight sun during 5 days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, there is at least one thing Internet should be used to : connecting people and getting them to meet. There is so much to learn from others that it would be a waste no to use it that way.

Interests

Music : Funk, Rock, electro, trip-hop, soul, jazz and many more...

Vegetarian : but I can swear my life is more than soy and seeds ;)

Volunteering : I had the chance to be the Vice President of a wonderful youth international organization called CliMates looking for innovative venues to deal with climate change, and this one experience changed the way I look at what surrounds me.

Sound recording : my new hobby since I took a class of soundscape!
