About Me
Hi there!
My name is Norman and I am a young creative & professional living in Brooklyn. I am half Mexican, half Cuban, and grew up in Miami, Florida.
I have lived in New York for four years - I graduated from Columbia University in 2024. Now that I have my own apartment I would love to host people from all over the world!
My main experience with Couchsurfing was during my study abroad trip in Paris in 2023. I traveled to enjoy Art and History through Western and Central Europe, meeting plenty of people from all over the world during those travels
I am excited to continue my amazing CS journey in New York by hosting travelers :)
Cities I have visited through CS:
• Brussels (Erwan!)
• Rouen (Christian!) (After: Honfleur, Bayeux, Mt. St. Michel)
• Strasbourg (David!)
• Rome (Luca!)
• Barcelona (Lior!)
• Vienna (Kyriakos!, Martin!)
• Brno (Michael!)
• Prague (Oli!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is special to see just 1 person’s corner of the world through their own eyes and their own habits.
We all come from somewhere and are excited about the places we come from. I love the idea of being able to be shown somebody's life through their favorite foods, hobbies, and lifestyle in their own city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am very happy to have pushed myself to study hard in order to attend college in New York City.
Studying abroad in Paris, becoming fluent in French.
Sneaking into beautiful mausoleums, rooftops, etc.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about Art History and I would be delighted to learn and teach about any city's artwork, artists, and movements.
In fact, I work at an art gallery and sell Art Nouveau / Art Deco artworks in New York.
I am a photographer and I will very likely offer to take photos during a fun moment I think you’d like to remember.
I also enjoy spending quality time in beautiful places: eating local, good food, sharing stories, and connecting as humans in this big, incredible, and funny world.
I would love to learn more about people's history and the reasons that motivate them to be hosts on Couchsurfing :)
