Overview
About Me
Having been to numerous countries across four continents has been massively enlightening and something that I would like to continue. I consider myself as an open-minded, easygoing and laid-back sportsman who is always looking for something new to explore. Such things as different nations, cultures, traditions have been fascinating me ever since I was just a small kid. I would say I was just hugely inspired by those travels I did with my parents around Europe when I was younger.
I also love paddling. I've done competitive sprint kayaking for more than ten years and I am still trying to be involved in sports such as running, swimming, cycling or weight lifting. Last year I lived in Edinburgh where I studied coaching and volunteered at the local kayak club as a coach to help children master the sport.
Currently, I am a sports science student at the University of Aberdeen, in Scotland.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Even though I have been lucky enough to travel to a bunch of places across 4 continents, I would like to travel, discover and expand my mind more and I find Couchsurfing as an epic way to do this and to stay in a new city through helps of this brilliant community.
This summer, a friend and I will be travelling across Europe by train for two weeks and we hope this website will be able to help us with accommodation and learn about a new city.
Interests
I am really into many sports such as weight lifting, running or swimming but my absolute favourite has to be kayaking. A sport that I used to do competitively for more than ten years. I also like the modern art and the 19th century architecture.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can listen to pretty much every kind of music but to be a little bit more exact, I enjoy listening to Bob Marley, Linkin Park, Macklemore or some funk music as well. Unfortunately I'm not a bookworm, I enjoy reading interesting articles or news, but I am more of a visual learner.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even though I have snorkelled at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia which by the way was an absolutely phenomenal experience, I do not think I could pick one single experience. I enjoy simple things, such as a conversation with a friend over some coffee/tea, a relaxed dinner or just a picnic outside in nature.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Hungarian if you want to, although I don't think anyone would learn Hungarian. It's pretty hard. Also I could teach you how to paddle. I really enjoy cooking so I believe I could make you some simple Hungarian dish that you've never had before :). I am an open person, so I'm keen to learn or see something new.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've been always interested in cooking so I believe I could make some real Hungarian dish:)
