ABOUT ME

I've lived the average half Guatemalan, half Canadian life. I spent the first few years up in the Great white north with the Cree Indians... then migrated south for the winter down to Guatemala, and stayed for 11 yrs. Once winter ended I migrated north to the pseudo-southern state of Virginia where sweet tea flows like honey, and where if you can eat it, you can deep fry it and make it "even better"!

PHILOSOPHY

We've each got a story and it's amazing that as each story is told I've found we're all so much more alike... we have pasts, and presents, and dreams.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first found out about Couch surfing in 2006... and figured if strangers wanted to stay on my couch, and i could stay on strangers couches... then I'M IN!!!

Best way to meet locals, and find the local spots!

兴趣

People, cultures, and languages fascinate me. I'm THAT guy that will eve's drop on conversations in restaurants... even if i don't speak the other people's language... cause lets be honest... what ARE they saying?!?!
I love the out doors. Hiking, dancing, biking, riding my motorcycle, playing (or at least attempting) any sport possible. Yet... gotta love the kick back time of sitting around talking with friends, and strangers, and sharing a meal.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Having grown up in Guatemala I was able to participate/translate for around 30 plus missions trips throughout Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
I backpacked around Europe for 3 and a half months... played the guitar on the streets of London, saw the sun rise & sun set over the Greek isles, danced the night away on the white sand beaches of Spain, talked to a 67 year old man from Italy for 3 hours on a train... and the only thing i walked away with is that he had two kids, and it was his first time out of Naples.
