About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'll settle for winning the Pulitzer

ABOUT ME

I'm studying in Cordoba, Spain for the next 5 months, and I truly and really have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. But hey, this place looks great, the food is absolutely awesome (even when not done by me), and plenty of opportunities for great photography.

Hospitality industry is my field for the moment, though I wouldn't say that my school is solely focused on that. I'd say I'm studying service innovation and design, which is a relatively new field. Or, rather, it's existed for ages, but only in very recent times has anyone paid any real attention to it.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't stress about things you can't change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It was spring 2008, in a shady bar in Bucharest, Romania, where two American Peace Corps members and a British English teacher told me of this one great website where world-minded people gather...

After a two-year hiatus, back again.

Interests

I live, I breathe, I dream about photography. Ask me anything.

Nowadays I'm more interested in cooking as well, and though I can't really claim in any way that I'm a proper good cook, I'm trying to learn more (almost) every day. I've never worked in a kitchen, there's still a bunch of stuff to learn I'm sure, but slowly, slowly...

I like biking, I really biking. I try to bike everywhere and as much as I can for leisure as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess I could say that I tend to read a fair few books annually.

I'm desperately trying to broaden my views on music by straying away from the radio waves, and browsing for music from all around the world. Recommend me songs and bands to listen to!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gliding through a soft white layer of dreams, from a deep blue vastness with blazing horizons, into a weeping dark world.

Having your plane land at sunset, in other words.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Sweden, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Finland
