ABOUT ME

I have a love of traveling since 18 when I first stepped into Asia. I have traveled through America, Europe and Asia extensively and I spent a two year jaunt around Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and America. I have some great travel stories ranging from surfing in Sri Lanka to riding Rickshaws in India, hitching across the US and sharing Turkish baths with Hungarians.

I spent two months teaching kayaking in Algoquin provincial park and I loved sleeping with bears and mooses ;)

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once so life should be a crazy ride seeing and doing as much as you can. Traveling is the best way to do this. I love showing travelers I have met around London as it gives me an opportunity to see and do things that you wouldn't otherwise bother with.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't really couch surfed through this site but a hitch hiker I picked up in Canada recommended this website. Since then I have met a few active couch surfers in Whistler and in Vancouver who have really recommended couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have managed to blag loads of free accommodation across America where everyone wanted to help out travelers and even cook me a BBQ.
I was an official dosser in an Australian house share in London for almost two months in between renting in Clapham and leaving the UK for Canada.

Intereses

I love and am addicted to sport: squash, swimming, skiing, football, and mountain biking. I love surfing and I am quite bad-any tips, weekends to Newquay/Portugal would be a great idea. ;)

I am a qualified ski and kayak instructor. I have links into the outdoor industry in England-mountain biking, water sports and mountain climbing. If you want to do anything from mountain biking, climbing, to learning basic skiing or kayaking then I am more than happy join. In.
