love to see the world, go where I haven't been before and meet people I don't know yet...
even if I don't always look that way I'm always friendly, easy to get along with and am pretty undemanding when travelling - means even the floor would be fine for me ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to travel more parts of the world soon. And I sure hope to learn as much as possible about the people and the culture there. And Couchsurfing seams like a great way to do so.

On the other hand I'm always happy to give someone the opportunity to visit my hometown and learn something about Mannheim and/or Germany

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far - only surfed couches of people I already knew (called friends ;). During my last trip through South-Eastern Europe I sadly couldn't surf any couches, but I met many surfers in the Hostels I stayed.

I will keep this up-to-date as soon as i made some experiences

Interests

Besides travelling? - I studies computer science, so I guess anything about computers are a hobby.
And I play American Football and really enjoy that.
I love going to concerts or festivals whenever I got the time.
I love beer (surprise: I'm german ;) - actually started rating different beers with a friend in June'11 - made it to 530 so far - and two month ago we stared brewing our own beer (...still trying to figure out making good beer)

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly bands like Rise Against, Dropkick Murphys, Millencolin, Sum 41, ... but I also listen to Adele, Kettcar, Tocotronic ... depends on my mood ;)

Book: right now 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series - but not that much of a reader anyways

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Living for 7 month in the states (Maryland) was pretty amazing. That gave me a chance to get to know a completly different way of life, meet cool new people and see amazing places.
- First time traveling with a backpack; From the Black Sea to Vienna. Was one of the greatest vacations I ever had

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook - even if I have like no system ... i just cook and most of the times it tastes good ;) I could share that with you. Besides that I could share some knowledge about software/web development since that's what I'm doing for a living ...
