ABOUT ME

Well! I'm a bilingual Spanish-English speaker (Venezuelan-American), originally from Tampa, Florida, USA.
I've been living in Barcelona, Spain for the past 9 years, teaching English and having a generally great time, but I've always wanted to live in Asia and I'm making that dream a reality.

PHILOSOPHY

There is plenty of time for silliness and unexpected beginnings. There is also a time for seriousness and dedication. It's good to have a balance and be able to not worry when you don't need to worry, and focus when it's expected of you/yourself.

I have couchsurfed with my friend in the past and would love to repay the experience by hosting. If worse comes to worse, I would offer you a spot on the couch or a mattress on the floor.

Hitchhiked from Barcelona to Wroclaw, Poland. Couchsurfed in Strasbourg and Mainz.

Interests

Beaches, forests, long distance phone calls, live music, playing guitar, singing, photography, visiting art galleries, learning about different mythologies, learning other languages, eating interesting food.

My music tastes vary from month to month. I love all kinds of music. From The Smiths to Thelonius Monk to Kendrick Lamar to Paul Simon to Camarón de la Isla.
When it comes to film, I love David Lynch and Terry Gilliam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking the 15 hour bus ride on the highest road in the world from Manali to Leh in India, seeing the incredible foothills of the Himalayas which are much bigger than any mountain ranges I've ever seen. Oh, and I once won a Bingo game! Wow!!!!
