Overview
About Me
📴 I’m currently on a smartphone detox, so I’m not active on "Hangouts" section and other apps— but I’m around in real life!
If you're up for a chat, a casual walk, or a good local lunch 🍽️, I'm usually free during lunch breaks and after work in the downtown area 🌆. Just send me a direct message 💬 — I’d love to meet kind, open-minded people.
🇹🇳✨ Traveling through Tunis and want to explore like a local?
Whether you're a solo traveler, digital nomad, or just curious to dive deeper into the city — you’re in the right place 💌.
I was born and raised in Tunis 🕌 and still call this vibrant city home ❤️. I’d be happy to show you around downtown — beyond the tourist spots — and into the hidden corners, cozy cafés ☕, cultural gems 💎, and lived-in streets that make this place so special 🌍🌿.
🧠💬 I’m somewhere between introvert and extrovert — I love deep conversations, shared laughter, and meaningful company, but I also value silence and reflective moments.
Couchsurfing 🛋️ has given me a way to connect with people from all walks of life and build friendships across borders 🌐💫.
If you're someone who travels not just to see new places, but to grow, learn, and evolve 🌱, we’ll probably get along.
I consider myself a resilient soul 🧗♀️, always working on becoming a better version of myself — with kindness, curiosity, and a good dose of humor.
Especially to fellow women travelers — if you ever want to feel a little more at ease or simply need a grounded, local connection in Tunis, don’t hesitate to reach out 💖.

🌍💛 Whether you're an explorer or a remote worker, travelling solo and looking for real connections and safe places to hang out — Tunis has plenty to offer. And I’m always happy to share more tips or meet up if I can!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I believe in meaningful encounters, not just passing through places.
For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about a place to stay — it’s about connecting with people, exchanging stories, learning new perspectives, and sometimes... building lifelong friendships 💬🧡.
I’ve always loved being both a listener and a storyteller, and CS gives me the space to be both. I enjoy welcoming travelers to my city, showing them the real Tunis — not just the touristy version — and learning from their experiences too.
As someone who values slow travel, cultural curiosity, and intentional living, Couchsurfing has been the perfect platform to connect with kindred spirits — whether you're a digital nomad with a laptop and a dream, a solo woman traveler seeking authentic connection and safety, or anyone simply looking to go beyond the surface.
Every Couchsurfing meeting feels like a step toward a more connected and open-hearted world — and I’m happy to be part of it 💫.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎬 TV Series:
Tunisian: مكتوب، فلوجة، المايسترو
Egyptian: الشك، سجن النسا، تحت السيطرة، الكابوس، راجل وست ستات
Lebanese: نساء في العاصفة، طريق، تشيلو، لعبة الموت
Mexican: Maria Mercedes, Kassandra, La Mujer de Mi Vida
American: Kyle XY, Glee, Get Away With Murder
🎵 Music:
I love music that tells a story or carries a strong emotion — whether it’s something soulful, nostalgic, or just good for dancing. I vibe with everything from classic Arabic music (Fairouz, Oum Kalthoum) to Tunisian indie, and from jazz and lo-fi beats to Beyoncé’s empowering energy 🎤✨.
Live music and festivals like JMC or Carthage Festival always feel magical to me.
🎬 Movies:
I’m a huge fan of films that make you feel or think deeply — especially indie cinema, documentaries, and character-driven stories. I enjoy both world cinema and old classics, and I’ll never say no to a good screening at Le Parnasse or a night at the Ciné Club.
Some favorites: In the Mood for Love, Incendies, Her, and Wadjda.
📖 Books:
I like books that help me grow — emotionally, intellectually, or spiritually. I'm drawn to memoirs, feminist literature, and books on personal development or psychology. I also love reading about different cultures and human resilience.
A few that stuck with me:
• The Prophet by Khalil Gibran
• The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
• And honestly, I enjoy flipping through travel essays and photography books as much as deep reads.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once guided a small group of travelers through the hidden corners of downtown Tunis — not as a professional guide, just as someone who genuinely loves their city 🧡.
We wandered the medina’s quiet alleys, shared street food under the sunset 🌯🌇, found a surprise rooftop concert 🎶, and ended the night with mint tea overlooking the old city lights 🌃🍃.
It reminded me how magical everyday places can become when you experience them with open hearts — and how beautiful connection between strangers can be 💫.
