ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Noor. I'm half Egyptian, quarter French, and quarter Turkish, grew up in London and now lives in beautiful Alexandria. My friends aren't good enough so I'm getting some from the internet.

I like to talk, a lot. I'm a very good listener too, I wanna meet new people from different backgrounds.

I play rugby. I have a small band in Egypt, I play the guitar and we suck.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is transient. The time spent worrying about that fact can also be spent enjoying yourself. Think about it, we worry about the inevitable, we feel vulnerable, but that's what we are, vulnerable people.

"I shot for the sky, but instead of ending up among the stars, I found myself lost, aimlessly roaming the empty space that I soon realised, had become my life".
I think people try too hard, reaching out for the best, not settling for anything else, and it's sad because you never really get what you want, and the sooner you realise that, the happier you become.

Just about every genre of music. Favourite bands: City and Colour/ Angus and Julia Stone/ Dark Dark Dark/ cantbebotheredtonamethemalltbh

Favourite movies: anything with good cinematography, knotted (but enjoyable) plots, and believable acting. My favourite movie is Atonement.

My favourite book is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Algo increíble que he hecho

Witnessed a bomb going off in Gare Du Nord Station in Paris, it wasn't serious (apparently it was like a WWII antique that wasn't really gonna kill anyone - or the terrorist didn't read the catalogue) but the thing going off made me partially deaf for an hour.

Won the best Novel in Alexandria Bibliotheca when I was 12. Won a couple of literary awards later on.

I got mugged once.
