Yes to Amsterdam, listening & speaking, books, travelling, mountains, skiing, countryside, water, yachts, ice-cream, mandarins, Latvian food, unexpected happenings, surprises, positive people, singing, cycling, languages, dogs & other animals.

No to sadness, egoism, silence, boring life, coffeeshops, clubbing, loud music, fitness clubs, smoking, drugs, plants and flowers, lies.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in God. So I believe that he is creating our lifes and we are just changing the details. I live, according to this philosophy - so far going pretty good. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS not to look for a place to stay when I go abroad or have thousands of new friends, no - I joined CS because I like to host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted few people in Riga (Latvia), Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and Brussels (Belgium).

Surfed couple times in different cities.

Met bunch of CS people in some CS gatherings, just when traveling somewhere around Europe or when showing them around some of my cities :)

Already being born and living on this Earth is a pretty amazing experience itself!

I will share my knowledge about countries I've been living. I will share my stories about the cities I've been. I will share my experience and impressions about different European nations and countries. I will share culture, food, drinks, songs, language... I will share anything I know.

I hope to learn from you couple new words in your language and to try one of your national dishes.

And I love receiving real postcards, so if after surfing my couch or meeting me you feel like writing me a postcard from your home country - I will be more than happy to receive it! :)
