ABOUT ME

I'm a long term engineering student, who is interested in the field of sustainable development, sustainable materials, energy efficient buildings, saving our environment and ecological food. This is particularly what brought me here to Sweden. I know all of this sounds quite geeky, but I'd like to think of myself as being quite open-minded and interested in loads of other worldly things :) A little more about myself: I'm a vegetarian, gluten-intolerant, athletic, nature explorer, a bit of a vagabond, and a café lounger.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing in the Netherlands a few years ago when I moved there. I have participated in several common activities organized by CSers and had nothing but positive experiences so far. All in all, I have greatly appreciated the company, conversations and best of all the chance to meet locals and get acquainted with the city/country in which I was exploring.

Centres d'intérêt

Traveling is something that I will never be able to stop doing until the day that I am no longer. I just simply love discovering the eccentricities that the world and its inhabitants have to offer. I also am greatly interested in learning and practicing languages while I wander around. Additionally, I greatly like to stay active by running, weight lifting, boxing, cross-training, cycling, hiking and dancing.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

-Jumped out of a plane...only once but maybe that is enough.
-Jumped on a moving train in Italy.
-Walked 70km unexpectedly across the Andes with food poisoning, backpacks and all.
-Slept in the Moroccan Sahara under the beautiful starry night sky.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I love learning and sharing my knowledge. I find languages particularly interesting. I'm currently learning Swedish and Spanish. I would really like to perfect Spanish one of these days to be more in touch with my roots and family.
