About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a father of 5 children, earning money as a freelance 3d-visualizer. For the last few years I have been studying psychology (gestalt therapy). In future I hope to move to the profession of a gestalt-psychotherapist. I like travelling and do it as much as I can afford it. I really enjoy communicating with people who are open-minded and curious about how all around works.
PHILOSOPHY
Over the years my philosophy is getting more and more simple. I'm just trying to be present in the current moment as possible, enjoying simple things and responding to the challenges of the Life as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS allows me not to just to glance from the facade, but to have a deeper contact with people from another cultures. That contact helps me to grow through some of my rigid concepts about the outer world. And to discover there that despite of living in different cultures we all are have many thing in common. That always impress me and also makes my subjective world more rich, warm, safe and exciting.
Interests
My interests are:
- cooking (some exotic dishes from far lands especially),
- sailing (not too much practice in it till not, but 1 real sailboat trip in the Mediterranean I have had),
- learning languages (the last years I'm learning Portugese and Hindi a bit, the idea of Indo-European language similarity excites me very much),
- singing and playing guitar.
- meditation, which I started to practice last year and am starting to like more and more.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite movie:
probably Korean "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring". I like the idea of life cycle there. And how a disciple becomes a teacher.
Favourite music:
I don't listen to music so much last years. If I listen to something usually it's something relaxing. Sometimes I like English sea chanties, or Russian rock.
Books:
Last years I almost don't read fiction books. I read mostly books on psychology (mostly on gestalt-therapy approach), different spiritual books (mostly concerning hinduism or buddhism) and books about travelling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived for 1,5 years in South-East Asia with my wife and 4 children
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can teach how to cook some dishes and how to play chords on guitar.
Learn:
I would like to learn how to cook some local dishes and how to speak some local language.
