Overview
About Me
I am just another guy on earth who intends to travel not far always, but wide. I believe in simple and frugal living, but often forget it on many counts ;-)
I am a photographer, image processor, love coding, driving and travel a lot, not far but wide. Well, I went to a cross country road trip for my honeymoon instead of regular touristy cuddly-mudly honeymoon, if that tells you something about my wanderlust.
Mountains and beaches?? Mountains. It gives me peace. Mountains are where I belong to. Beaches are party places, where I go for parties sometimes, but get bored soon. I am not a party guy, and mostly avoid drinking alcohols. But I can accompany others and often end up being the driver of the drunks gang.
I live with my wife Sutapa here at Domlur in Bangalore which is a few miles east of Bangalore Central district and on a junction of two major roads. The house is located in a government built apartment complex in a quite location with lots of open spaces, well ventilated and sunny place and greenery all around. And yet, it is just two steps away from all the amenities. The houses are however 2 decades old, and hence are equally backdated in style and maintenance. Please refer to photos for details.
++ In case I happen to host you:
Upon (Or before preferably) arrival at my place you are requested to give me a copy of your passport and visa (if you are not Indian) or Govt. ID card (if you are Indian) as per rules of my housing society to keep it on my records. Hope you don't mind this. Cheers! :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have an extra bed room to share and would like meeting new people, new cultures. To be honest, more than me, my wife is very social and likes meeting people. Sunny, an active couchsurfer, who happens to be my friend and colleague happened to show us the way. And we are up in gloves. Hurray....!!!
