About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Community and inclusion. We are going home to Ohio after a few years in Seattle, and taking some time to do it.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Cincinnati, OH, went to school in Chicago, lived in Seattle for a couple years, and now I'm back in Cincinnati with my future wife, Sarah, to build a life and community.

PHILOSOPHY

Be here now.
Live in joyful reverence.
Creation over destruction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a trek up Volcán Tajumulco near Xela, Guatemala. We went up for the sunrise. As the sun slowly rose, the light poured through the valley below like liquid gold. I was dumbfounded and silenced.

I am posting a picture of it to my account, but it really doesn't do it justice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love working with my hands, and I'm fairly handy with tools. I've done some woodcarving as well. I would love to spend time making music with people. Finally, I love the work of community building, as well as gardening, and I always like talking about that stuff with others who are interested in it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you catch us at the beginning of our trip, we might have a bottle of homebrew ready to share with you! Also, I can tell you a couple jokes, and you can watch Sarah roll her eyes at me.
