Hi, I'm Nik from Sweden. Now living in Da Nang since 2023. Before coming here I stayed in Istanbul for a time.

I'm calm and open-minded. Most of my time is spent in the world of e-commerce. I currently live a very frugal life. So I don't travel often or do many activities. A typical day of mine includes visiting coffee shops to work and at some point going to the gym.

Couchsurfing is awesome for meeting people. I like learning from new perspectives and languages.

In Sweden I was working as a municipal secretary in a tiny village in the middle of the country.

I've always been looking outwards in the world and spent a lot of time abroad already. Summer of 2023 I took the chance to quit my job and live a different life somewhere else.

My CS experience has been great! I've met people from all over the world. I hope to continue doing so!

Interests

I really like couchsurfing because of the opportunities to meet so many of you interesting people! I have hosted and met many people thanks to this app.

If I get the chance I love staying longer periods in one area to get a feel for the culture and how people live.

My latest travels were to and around Turkey in 2022 and back again 2023.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The ONE thing has to be to let go of ordinary life and move abroad. Being able to choose to live in South East Asia is simply amazing to me! Thinking about it makes me smile.

I know my way around Da Nang very well. For visitors in the city I can recommend cafes for remote work and places to eat.

I speak a little Vietnamese and can give you some pointers in that too!
