About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get further than five chords on guitar and to hold a basic conversation in Spanish....

ABOUT ME

I've been involved in couchsurfing since 2008. As a result, have met and seen some amazing people and things. I couchsurfed a heap overseas in Europe and through South America and got in with some amazing CS groups (especially in Edinburgh... crazy kids!)

Keen to get back into meeting friendly, open minded folk :)

PHILOSOPHY

Be light, be free, be joyful

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favourite thing about couchsurfing is how you can have just arrived in a place and within minutes you're injected headlong into the culture and can get a feel for what it's really like.
I also love how it's such a big trust thing on both sides, and how after knowing people hardly any time you feel super comfortable.

Also great to be living home and keep meeting different, awesome people, who might have a different perspective or take on the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked all 800 km of the camino de santiago.
Lived in the Philippines for 6 months in a dormitory.
Volunteered in Peru and discovered a love of manual work.
Got a triple word score for ´bamboozled´ in scrabble.
Went back to grad school as an adult and now find myself spending my days playing boardgames for a living!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you harmony singing and ukulele. I want to improve on guitar and Spanish.
