One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time my best friend and I attempted to hike around a big lake in one day. Around sunset we were only half way around, and half a lake away from camp. We walked out to the end of a peninsula and stuck out our hitchhiking thumbs. Just as we were about to give up and swim across the lake, the two of us hitched a ride by sea, fully clothed, arms wrapped around some lady, balancing on the back of a jetski. I don't even think Jack Kerouac got a ride like that.
Oh, and the same day I found some clam fossils. On top of a mountain of all places.
