I am looking to surf a bit this summer, then host when I get to New York City in the Fall.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: mostly 60's/70's (the Beatles, the Doors, Bob Dylan, etc.), reggae(esp. Steel Pulse), and jazz, but I am into most genres
Books: some of my preferred authors are Christopher Hitchens, Dostoevsky, Beckett, and Marquez
Movies: Kubrick, Coppola, and Scorsese movies are generally good

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I struggle to think of any one thing in particular, but I did travel to 5 continents over an 8 month span in 2011.
