ABOUT ME

I have a BA in International Affairs and a minor in economics. I have a traveled a bit and love meeting new people and visiting/immersing myself in new cultures. I love tea of all kinds, but mostly greens, and I enjoy discussing a wide range of topics. All my schooling has taught me only that I am ignorant and need to learn more. Even if you don't stay with me hit me up and we can get tea/coffee, go for a hike, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Accomplish everything I want to do by age thirty, then annoy everyone I know/meet for the rest of my life with stories of how cool I once was.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a member since 2005 but I have never couch surfed. Honestly for a while I forgot the site existed. That being said I'm back now and looking to host/be hosted.

Enders Game, Without Remorse, the Foundation series, Anything by John Keegan, As far as music goes if the artists are good I'll listen to just about anything, range from Metallica to Vivaldi

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drinking tea in Gilgit, Pakistan, while two Muezzins from different mosques called for evening prayer, in perfect harmony.

Teach, Learn, Share

Make sure you iron your clothes after they have been hanging out on the line in Southern Africa. The Tumbu fly lays its eggs in the clothes on the line and then they get into your skin, where the larvae form and from where they eventually emerge. Ironing will kill the eggs.
