About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience the world and being in the company of thinkers, artists and others that challenge and expose me to new ideas.

ABOUT ME

I am a crunchy Connecticut fellow who likes deep conversations, new experiences, interesting ideas and good people. I like to read (environmental history, botany, gardening, and fiction), play guitar, hike, trail run, forage and be with my dog Sage. I am a high school teacher and I love my profession!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once visited Ethiopia and I will never forget the amazing food, friendly people, the smell of exhaust, the cattle in the streets, and the monkeys in backyards. I saw the beautiful and incredible stone carved churches of Lalibela and the beautiful landscape surrounding Lalibela when I traveled by an old bus to a stone church in the countryside.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love meeting and getting to know new people and learning about what your area has to offer. I’d love to cook a vegetarian meal for you and share a good conversation. I also can switch to keeping a low and quiet profile so you can do your own thing. I am considerate and tidy.
