Travelling around with my partner Nico. We are a Finnish couple in our early 30's on a journey around the world and within ourselves.

We're both elementary school teachers by profession but taking now a sabathical for a year or two... or who knows? We are interested in developing and growing as humanbeings, nature, arts, communality and overall well being. Our lives include meditation, yoga and other physical exercise, dancing, going outdoors, reading, writing, painting, music and many kinds of creative activities, meaningful encounters, deep conversations, healing and just surrendering to the flow of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On our travels we'd like to maintain the aspects of our lives mentioned above but also deepen them by meeting new people and sharing life with others in a heartful, communal way. Also we'd love to explore new places in an authentic way by meeting up with locals, see how they live, learn from them and exchange experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

We both listen to variety of different kinds of music from our homeland but also all around the world. We also like to play music and sing. We enjoy mantras and participating sing and chant circles.

We also watch many different kinds of movies but enjoy especially from Europian, historical and psychological drama and old movies, silent movies and documentaries. One of Nuppu's all time favorite movies is Amélie and Nico likes Charlie Chaplin movies.

Lately we both have been reading books from authors like Eckhart Tolle, Joe Dispenza and Deepak Chopra but we're interested in reading many kinds of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit our jobs, get rid off and move the rest of our stuff to Nuppu's mom's attick, pack our backpacks, leave with no deadline of coming back and travelling on a low budget.

Teach, Learn, Share

- Music, dance, all kinds of creative activities: Nico especially theater, drama and playing and Nuppu singing, painting and Tarot readings.
- Mindfulness, meditation and (kundalini)yoga practices.
