About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Diversity! To meet people, help them during their travels and be helped! Having an in-dept conversation with person from a different country/culture or different occupation is a great learning experience: how other people make a living, design their lives, how they have fun.. I definitely do not expect that you have backpacked in 20 countries to teach me something (but that sounds great!) Since I never worked outside of academia, if you have a 8-5 office job, that is also quite an interesting thing to me (and I hope you feel the same way!)
So I am ok with long stays so we can get a conversation going. Having said that, I am also ok if you just need a place stay when driving through, arrive late and leave early.
Interests
Hiking, camping, nature.
But I also enjoy taking an architecture tour when I visit a city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stood on Dante's point in Death Valley NP, while sun was setting on my left and super-moon rising on my right, at the same time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Wako-shi is quite conveniently located to visit Tokyo, Ikebukuro is a 20 minute train ride.
I love cooking and I would like to share a dinner! If I am not too busy with work, I might accompany you with your visit in Tokyo as well.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Japan, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
