I am a government official ho happens to love traveling as much as I love cuddling up myself in front of a fireplace, drowning in reading. I also love strolling on a countryside, lazying around in a park, either zoned in a good book, observing people, doodling, taking random landscape pictures, or simply daydreaming.
I love a peaceful and quiet getaway, although sometimes I'd like to be immersed in the hustle bustle of the city to enjoy the city's lively atmosphere. Normally I travel with my husband, but sometimes I travel with my best friends.
I do not have pet and do not drink.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people and make new friends. I'd love to share and understand other cultures.
I love reading and having a stroll in a countryside. I also happen to be interested in photography (amateur one, me), traveling, history, archaeology, mythology, Ghibli, gardens, and anything about English, Japanese, and Korean culture.
Music, Movies, and Books
The music I listen to depends on my mood, but basically I listen to pop and slow rock. And some classics. And some traditional music.
I love Ghibli's movies. I also like The Lord of the Ring and The Hobbit, The Imitation Game, Avengers and Thor (mainly because of Loki), Transformer, The Fault in Our Stars, ... well, the list could keep going on and on and on. Basically, I love watching any kind of movies as long as they are not gore and pure action.
I love reading novels, ranging from fantasy, adventure, mystery, teen stories (The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Town), and even children stories. Among those bards, Andrea Hirata, J.K. Rowling and Neil Gaiman are my favorite ones. Ah. and John Green.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To be able to visit the mecca of my dreams, my hopes, and my wishes.
I visited the village of Edensor, Derbyshire on October 2014 (and several times afterwards). It was a normal trip as I went there with friends and with a well planned itinerary. The amazing thing is that it is the place I am dying to visit. The moment when first I landed on the ground is indescribable, unforgettable.
