About Me

I'm 31 y/old from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I started to travel locally with my friends when I've graduated from high school. During my first year doing bachelor degree, I went to travel further with a group of colleagues. Since then, I started to enjoy travelling with friends. I love doing itinerary (consider it as my hobby!), I'm an organized person (I like to keep things in order - I could be spontaneous too), I'm not a big spender for food but I do enjoy spicy food, desserts (I have sweet tooth 😬).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people, making new friends. A lot of people I've met said that I'm a natural in making a connection :) . I love talking to people & hearing their life experiences made me realize what I what to be in future. I also have been living with two host families & by doing Couchsurfing, I get more connection, I know the place with a local insight :)

Interests

I love travelling. I didn't travel a lot but when I do, I took months staying in the same place (considering I'm with living my host family). I love bush walking, city tour, nature, wandering in the local markets, taste the street foods, shopping in the thrift shop!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked as an AuPair! Its amazing that I got myself such a good family, who understand my needs and really flexible in doing anything. I watched the kids (two boys) grew for 6 months & all I can say that I love being around children & watching them grew, gaining knowledge every single day makes me happy!

Went for hiking with my fellow friends (I was in a recreational sports group when I was in Diploma years). Fun fact: I'm the president for the club! I managed the group for 2 semester (a year) & we went for hiking at Gunung Stong, Kelantan; CBL, Pahang; did water sports at Sg Selim, Kedah (water tubing, white water rafting, water confidence, tree top walk).

Went to Crayfishing with my first host (Rhyss & Viv). Although I got sea sick but it was fun!

Stayed with another host & we turned out to be best mate from 2016!

More to come I guess 😬

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach Bahasa Malaysia (if requested), I also used to be a teacher assistant in a kinder! I pretty much know a lot about kids!
Apart from that, I'm good (wouldn't lie & say I'm an excellent) cook. I learnt from my mom & online recipes helps :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

An insight of my culture! Since Malaysia is rich with culture (we are a multi culture country - Malays, Chinese, Indian, Dayaks, the originals etc). I'm Malay & in our culture, there are some many customs, tradition, rules. I could share with you how to wear my traditional Malay outfit :)
