About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm absolutely convinced my friends would say I'm easygoing, friendly and open-minded. What they would also highlight is that I'm extremly talkative :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It wasn't until June 2012 that I heard about CouchSurfing. I friend of mine told she was going on holiday and she was not booking accommodation at a hostel, but "couchsurfing". I didn't have a clue what it was about, so I asked her to explain it to me. Personally speaking, CouchSurfing offers an excellent opportunity to travel and to get to know the locals (rather than tourists or visitors) wherever you go!;)
Two years later...:)
So far my couchsurfing experience has been excellent. I've had the chance to meet awesome people. You can read about some of my experiences at the following links:

Interests

I have a passionate interest in travelling and learning foreign languages :) Besides, I'm keen on listening to music, I'd say I cannot live without it!I've also played the clarinet for 8 years. On top of that, I really like hanging out with my friends!:)As for the kind of sports I like the most, I really enjoy outdoor activities, such as kayaking, rafting...

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like U2, Bruce Springsteen, Joaquín Sabina, Vetusta Morla, Extremoduro, Bon Jovi, etc.
As for the books I like, at the moment I'm reading books in German (Der Vorleser) mostly since I want to improve my language skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've just come back to my city (Soria) because my Erasmus year is over. I've spent 10 months living in Cologne (Germany) and I must admit that it's been the best experience of my life! You may wonder why it was such a good experience for me...I will give you an explanation! It's been the first time I've spent a long period of time abroad all on my own (before that I had been to many countries, but only as a "tourist"). This way I've had a great opportunity to discover a new culture, a new language, to get to know people from all around the world and to mature ;) For all the reasons given, I'd not hesitate to say that my Erasmus year in Germany and every single thing (trips, lessons, new friednships, etc) I lived there have left me awestruck!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy talking about my experiences abroad :)
