ABOUT ME

Loner, social hermit like my alias Nuuskamuikku = Snufkin, who is the lonesome adventurer in the Mumin world. Nature enthusiast. Moved to Lapland with wife from Helsinki 2003 and built a home by a small salmon river surrounded by wilderness and close access to mountain terrain. Volunteer work periods in Namibia, Spain and France. In 1969!!! I hitch-hiked from Rovaniemi to London to work at a hotel as a handy man over the high school holiday. I attended the Stones in the Park concert in Hyde Park and saw Neil Armstrong live on the Moon!
