GADZOOKS! I just scrolled down to the end of this page...I don't know if I can fill in all this info!!
I just like to travel and meet folks from other places...
I appreciate wild lanscapes more than wild cities and the silence that generally accompanies it. Not to say that cities can't be interesting mind you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I remember visiting a Canadian friend while she was living in Germany. She had no room at her place so we both stayed the weekend at someone else's house. I don't speak any German, but these folks were so kind and made me feel right at home. There were more than a few language hiccups...but that is another story!
Reading, yoga, walking in nature, dancing, singing off key when no one is around.
- scuba diving
Music, Movies, and Books
Books - I love reading!! Some favorite Non-Zero, Collapse, Wizard's First Rule, Anna Karenina...soooo many wonderful books!
Movies (no laughing at the selection!) - Blade Runner, Gone With the Wind, Underworld, Love Actually, The Hangover (hilarious), The Emerald Forest...again too many to mention
My taste in music is eclectic - I like anything from Mozart to Tool...not a big fan of country, but do enjoy Patsy Cline.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching a thunderstorm on a rooftop, on the rooftop of the world - Tibet (it wasn't overhead - that would have been a little bit stupid)
Scuba diving for the first time - literally a whole new world....beautiful!
