Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Trying to meet other like-minded folk who can share their home towns/countries with me from a local perspective. Also always interested in meeting fellow people in my home city who have an adventurous mind!

I only just began traveling internationally in 2014, but realize I don't necessarily need to travel to far off lands to escape winter, meet curious people and have new adventures. While I still h ope to travel internationally, I'm trying to find more ways to make travel a sustainable part of my lifestyle.

Intereses

I love being outdoors, one of the reasons I struggle every winter in Chicago. I will try any athletic activity at least once but really enjoy tennis, rock climbing, bicycling and hiking. My goal for summer 2015 is to learn paddle boarding!

Local craft brews and local food are a must when traveling - and even when not traveling.

But the thing I enjoy the most is sharing stories and experiences. I believe it is truly the best form of human connection I've ever experienced. I love living vicariously through others, as some experiences I may never have myself (probably one of the reasons I tune in to This American Life every week).
