Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My husband and I were traveling by bike from San Francisco to Santa Barbara in May 2010. The family we were staying with in San Luis Obispo threw a dinner party the night we arrived. One of the guests happened to be a former college classmate of my father's. Turns out they studied in Italy together and he still had pictures of my dad IN the fountain in the Piazza della Signorio in Florence.

It's those small world moments that make couchsurfing so amazing!
