am very eager to get to know new people - to understand and appreciate variations between cultures. I love to analyze as much as I can about the world around me.
Being an actor and playwright I think the only way to grow is to experience and become aware of as much as possible.
I'm pretty damn silly too. I'd say I'm quirky with a chance of meatballs.

I sometimes come off as a pessimist but my optimism is just shaded by dry humour.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After having used the site to travel around Europe for a month I'd love to be able to host someone here now. Doesn't just have to be someone from another country either.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed two places in Italy, one in Germany, Amsterdam, met up with people in Paris, and now I'm hoping to find people in Spain right now. Also stayed with a guy in New Orleans a year or so back.

I've met and learned for lots of interesting people Ive and have memories I'll never forget.

兴趣

I love singing (in the shower, on the street, on the stage, you name it and I'll sing there).
I like conversation, going for walks, or laying in a park.
Clubs and bars are good too. However, I'm a lightweight. The lightest.
I love painting. Taking an empty canvas and going at it. Outside on the grass or something.
I could people watch for days (which is exaggeration code for an hour or two.)
I enjoy really getting to know a person especially when they enjoy it too.

I have an affinity for jazz and indie music. But I listen to everything. Pop, classical, musical theatre, bluegrass, and the list goes on.

To name some names (eclectic, I promise): Imogen heap, lady gaga, nickel creek, Jack Johnson, Lilly Allen, britney spears, MIA, Rihanna, John Williams, Ingrid michaelson, kate nash, a variety of one hit wonders, oldies, Christmas music, etc, etc.
I love discovering new music.

Books... I love reading though my lack of concentration can be rude. Recently I've read The Alchemist, Buddha or Bust, The Great Gatsby, On the Road, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Riding a bike around Amsterdam for 3 days. One of the most anxiety ridden experiences I've had that I ended up loving.

A one man band on a Prague bridge.

All the unfortunate and desperate looking prostitutes in the glowing windows of the Red Light District.

The Swiss Alps and the rest of Zurich from a mountain on the top of Zurich.

An 11 year old drinking a beer, alone, while driving a pickup truck in Texas.
