I sell, teach, and write about wine. My life's work and love is wine and food, cooking, music and film, yoga, everything outdoors, travel.. . I am currently living, and working and selling wine in Portland, Oregon. I have been settling into Portland nicely for the past year after two years abroad working and traveling in the Maldives, India, Sydney, Sicily, and Uruguay...

Set up in Portland, I am happy to host, swap apartments, meet new people and explore Portland with visitors and new friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Vancouver, BC, Uruguay, Athens, Santorini, Kephalonia, Greece, Paris, Rhone Valley, Champagne.. I took a tour, part wine business, part pilgrimage to visit winemakers and tour Greece. I had wonderful couchsurfing experiences in Uruguay.

I made it to the top of the tallest Mayan Pyramid in Coba..in the Mexican Yucatan on my 40th birthday. I've been thinking about the Mayan concept of time since then, and try to respect the time we have everyday in our modern lives and balance that with rest....
Swimming with sharks and sting rays in the Maldives, and spent 3 wonderful months living next to Mt Etna!!
