ABOUT ME

My name is Ritesh and I am a laid back person who likes to explore new places. I have traveled to many places around the globe and have enjoyed the opportunities to see various cultures and build new friendships across the globe. My favorite country is Germany. I like all kinds of cuisines with Thai being one of my favorites. I enjoy having a casual conversation with anyone at a cafe or a bar or even with a fellow passenger while I am sipping a glass of orange juice on a early morning flight!
I believe there is one home for all of us, i.e., Earth and if one day I can see my entire home, I would have accomplished my goal.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being new to CS, I would like to experience it myself first and perhaps open my house to other couchsurfers. It is a brilliant idea. I have met most of my friends during my travels and had never thought that 'making friends while traveling' could actually turn into a social phenomenon!

Traveling, airplanes, hiking, nature trails, movies, music (instrumental, indian, western rock, soundtracks), wine tasting, beer tasting, trying out new cuisines and food items, checking out new electronic gadgets, intellectual science related conversations or nerd talk!, beaches, skiing, etc

Star Trek (movie and series) are my favorite. I have several books that i never finished reading! Still trying increase my attention span for reading books!

Airplane tour of glaciers in Alaska south of Anchorage. It was the best thing I have done so far during my travels. Breath taking views of glaciers, flying very close to mountain peaks, sighting mountain goats and bears on the mountains and sea lions resting at the mouth of the glaciers were the best highlights of the ride!
