Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Fostering happiness, mischief, and well being.
ABOUT ME
I value human connection. I want to laugh and cringe, sweat and live.
By day I teach the blind and have an ever-changing schedule. (Wanna hear a blind joke?)
I'm also getting into using sustainable energy and microfinance as a means to alleviate poverty.
PHILOSOPHY
How about a couple.
A borrowed phrase: Of course the game is rigged. Don't let that stop you. If you don't play, you can't win.
One of my own: Don't focus on happiness; it is always a derivation of the moment. If you're unhappy come be here, now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surf and hosting whenever I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I found I have a family in the Magna Ka Tilla Tibetan community in Delhi. Few places I've been to are more enthusiastic about what life may present, including a dirt-encrusted American traveler.
Interests
Free of responsability I've been known to climb, surf, kick around a soccer ball, and make adventure. There's a surprising amount of activities that I love to do.
- soccer
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched rioters in Nepal refuse to let others inflict damage and injury on those they were protesting against.
Teach, Learn, Share
When you offer help to a blind person, let them hold your arm. Don't drag them.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom
