ABOUT ME

I am an entrepreneur and a freelance writer. I have established, owned and operated several business'. I love to cook, sing, dance, swim, write, and read. I am not afraid to give my opinion. I will tell you like it is, love me or hate me. I was once a competitive swimmer. I am writing a memoir about my VERY interesting life, and you can read excerpts on my notes tab. I love learning about other cultures, the food, the music, the languages, the people. I love to learn about everything in life period. I am like a sponge absorbing everything I come into contact with...I plan on going back to school to get a degree in Communications and Psychology. I love nature and animals, especially dogs. I hope to one day have my own dog walking and training business. I also hope to one day have several food establishments (BBQ joint, bakery, and ethnic soul food restaurants) I have one daughter, and one granddaughter. AND I am a divorcee.
I am also a survivor...Been close to death 3x's...suicide attempt age 18, head on car crash in Germany, going down at World Trade Center. I am lucky to be alive and I know that God has a purpose for me. I am also a survivor of a very tragic personal life. I am currently trying to reestablish myself after my ex-husband abandoned me after I helped him establish and operate a business. He ended up selling the business out from under me without my knowledge. Btw, I may be age 47, but I look like I am 35 or maybe younger depending on who you ask :)
