O-Rex: Hello! I'm Olive! A traveler at heart, happy to be alive, that sort of thing. I enjoy baking cookies, reading comics, real talk, animals, friends, & playing the ukulele! Often I am with my partner & traveling companion, Tay. We are excited to hear from you!

Tay: Just a taste... I like people, i like places, and i am moving away from an attachment to things...I have a child that is in kitten form and love playing guitar...more to come upon conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

O-Rex: As of this moment, I am not able to host, so I am looking for to bring something interesting into the lives of those who will have me!

Tay: Anyway I may be able to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

O-Rex: I'm really the only one here who's couchsurfed before. I went on a 2 month long US roadtrip with my brother and met amazing people. Couchsurfing was seriously one of my favorite aspects of the trip and I hope to have many more experiences like those in the future.

Interests

O-Rex: People, food, intimacy.

Tay: Animals, music, poetry, movies, and experience.

We also both love conversation, adventures, and meeting interesting people. We're definitely down to see whats up in your city!

Music, Movies, and Books

O-Rex: Jaws, Science of Sleep, any/all Miyazaki, Billy Elliot, Pariah (as far as movies go). I'm into surf rock, punk, hip hop, folk, psychedelic, emo, screamo, & indie rock. Some authors: Vonnegut, Aracelis Girmay, Anne Carson, Edith Wharton, Ken Dahl, Posy Simmonds.

Tay: Movies are cool, Music is better, and books require the most attention.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have seen a double rainbow in real life for starters...

-lived in New Orleans
-walked in 2 parades during Mardi Gras season
-managed to move a kitten all over creation
-survived an amazing amount of unfortunate circumstances
-been through most of the continental US
-and numerous other experiences that you're more than welcome to ask about!

Teach, Learn, Share

O-Rex: I could teach you to bake vegan AND gluten-free. Plus I've got way too much to share and am rarely concise. I could listen for hours.

Tay: i'm all ears and soft-spoken.
